JUSTIN BIEBER WAS AWESOME!!!

At one point, Justin was walking along the stage and said 'I have the best fans in the world' and the whole of the entire stadium screamed and then he said 'I would do anythig...to see you smile!' and then the crowd cheered and he started to sing U smile! It was brilliant!

We put this sign in the window but only got a few funny looks XD

The following picture is of Willow Smith when she was supporting Justin Bieber singing 21st century girl and whip your hair. She was awesome! x

Overall, I had an awesome time and it was Lisa's first concert and she had a great time so I would recommened his concerts if any of you can go...I know I'm a little biased but oh well! x x

 ARGH! JLS!

JLS were on at Liverpool Echo Arena last night and are on again tonight!!!! I have been to five of these now and this was BY FAR the best I've ever seen EVER! I got home at 11.45PM and am exhausted now because I had to go into college today because I had to have an English presentation...anyway though, I love ASTON SOOOOO MUCH and I feel much more in love with them now.

I LOVE JLS!!!!

I also finished Nanowrimo this week but I didn't get to 50,000 words but managed 19,000 so i think that's still pretty good for my first time at Nanowrimo! Everyone has to go on next year and write your little hearts out!

This post might not be up to the usual stupid…sorry scratch that…genius ramblings of me because it’s the third time lucky. The first time I had a power cut and lost my post and the second time it wouldn’t load…so I’m a little annoyed but I’ll be okay!

Well, I haven’t been on here for a long while and I’ve kinda missed it. It’s kind of therapeutic to write down all your inner musings; even if people have no idea what the heck you’re talking about I find it funny to watch people try to work it out.

Okay, so, one of the reasons I’ve not been on here have got to be the amount of homework I’ve been getting. I know what I was getting myself into but it’s a bit of a struggle anyway when you’re at College. But when you get that one evening when you don’t have much to do and you get to stay at home and listen to some of your favourite songs and just chat and write and chill then that’s worth it.

Oh, yeah and the diploma I’ll get at the end. I always forget that bit.

OMG! How friggin’ awesome were JLS on the X factor last night??? I have such a crush on Aston it’s actually unbelievable.

I’m going to see JLS in concert soon!!!

As you can tell I’m slightly excited about that! Yeah, well, it’s about two weeks on Thursday and they’re playing at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. It’s going to be so super cool and I just adore them so much! I’ll post some pictures of it at a later date.

So, the other reason I guess I haven’t been on here for a while is because I’m part of Nanowrimo this year and it takes up a lot of your time.

If you know what Nanowrimo is then you get a virtual cookie () for being awesome!

HELLO fellow Nanowrimo participant!

If you don’t know about it then click on the link below to see what it’s all about and read whilst eating your very own virtual cookie!

Nanowrimo.

If you’re too lazy to click the link then I’ll tell you about it but you don’t get any cookie…maybe some crumbs because I’m feeling nice today …and I’ll you about it.

Basically, Nanowrimo stands for National Novel Writing Month and so, every year, people flock to site and join up and dedicate their November to writing a 50,000 word novel in thirty days. It’s so fun and I was really surprised by how good it feels to be writing a decent sized novel.

Why? I hear you ask…

I do it just because I can. <<< major lol

It’s not a very good reason because people have ideas that they’re going to get theirs published and you never get bored because you have to write so much so fast that there’s no time to wonder whether or not you’re getting bored. All you have in your mind is how close the deadline is and how many words you’ve got left.

It’s EPIC.

Truly. I totally recommend you do it next year and you’ll see what I mean.

I’m telling you all this so that I make sure I finish and get to the deadline. I’m at about 14,000 words but we’re already half-way through so I have to find another 36,000 words in two weeks. It’s going to be tricky so I think I’d better leave this here and get cracking!

Sweet dreams and happy memories…x

Well, another week is finally over and I’m finding college…manageable, I suppose. It’s so much harder than high school, I knew that anyway, but it is just difficult and not always academically either. I think that part of me was expecting something different to what it’s turned out to be and yet I still have no idea what I thought it would be like. I think we were an almost perfect, yet slightly psycho, family at Meols Cop and I don’t think that’ll happen here.

I don’t know if anyone agrees with me, but I don’t feel as connected to college as I did high school. Granted, it’s only a month in, but I haven’t really settled in yet I don’t think…I’m not sure if I ever will though.

Maybe it’s a good thing it’s only for two years.

Anyway, on a slightly happier note I turn seventeen in TEN DAYS!!!

I CAN THEN START TO LEARN TO DRIVE.

Yeah, that’s the main one

Oooo – yeah, as part of my course you have to do a thing called TOK (theory of knowledge) which is a philosophy type of course and it’s awesome!

So, we were talking the other day about dreams and experience and stuff and our teacher said, after a lot of debate…

“How do you know you’re not a brain in a vat?”

 <<<<<That was me. Yeah.

I know, it sounds like something from the Matrix, and I would be totally lying if I said that it didn’t freak me out a little, because we started to talk about how do you know you’re not dreaming, that everything is just an illusion and you’re not attached to some wires that are feeding you impulses and everything you know is a lie…

Great topic for a Thursday morning I have to say.

Right, have to go, the fireworks are driving my goldfish insane  and I’m going to go nuts unless I listen to The Goo Goo Dolls on full blast for a few minutes at least! I hope the neighbors are out…

So, as you can see by the title, I’ve had a very productive day to say the least. This was an actual sentence said to me, by a woman in a shop called ‘Build-a-bear’ in Manchester Trafford Centre. As I said yesterday, I was invited along for the day by Hannah to go with her and her parents.

What did I learn today?

Hannah and I are children.

Didn’t see that coming did you?

Anyway, back to the Build-a-bear fiasco. Hannah and I went to this shop and, I don’t know if you’re familiar with it, but my cousin has one. You go in, buy a flat bear and then you can put a sound like a roar or a yawn or a heart beat inside and then they’ll stuff it for you. You then pick out a little outfit for it, take it to the counter and pay for it and they give you a birth certificate! It’s so cute, me and Hannah fell in love and were all like “I want one so much!!!!’

Can you tell what happened?

We have decided to ask for money for Christmas and then will go to Manchester and buy one with our Christmas money and then our bears can be friends too! Everybody all together now…Aww.

So, anyway, we entered the shop and this really happy woman came up to us and said ‘have you been here before?’

We’re sixteen. Of course not.

So she showed us around and then I asked about the heart, knowing a little about it from my cousin, and she looked in her pockets and said “here hold my dog, I’ll go get a heart.” She left us with a little fake dog on wheels and went off. I never thought I’d hear anyone say anything like that in my life.

So, she came back with this little plastic heart that did a proper little heartbeat thing. It actually like pulsed in your hand and she said when you hold the bear and it has a heartbeat you can feel it.

Scary. I know.

But so totally awesome at the same time. I was in love with a little black cat with orange paws and nose or a grey wolf that was sooo cute.

We finally pulled ourselves away from the bear factory and stumbled upon the Disney store.  Now, I don’t know if you’ve ever been in one, but it is just brilliant and Hannah and I were walking around quoting all the best Disney lines and squealing at the cute little soft toys. I don’t know about anyone else, but I always thought you’re meant to have soft toys on your bed when you’re like nine and then grow out of them? I have gone the other way and am slowly building a soft toy zoo on my bed.

It’s a brilliant shop though and everyone is so smiley and happy and like ‘Have a fantastic day!’

Yeah. You too.

So, my mum had given me some money because it’s my birthday next month and she said go and get myself something, so I bought a little soft toy Simba (Aww!) and a little ring from Claire’s that says ‘Peace’ on it.

Oh, speaking of Claire’s, Hannah and I went there and were looking around and, I don’t know whether you know this but me and Hannah have been friends since year seven which was around six years ago. So, we went in and I was looking at the necklaces and stuff and she saw those ‘best friends’ bracelets and necklaces and stuff so I asked her if we should get one together. You know what she said?

‘I think our relationship is going too fast.’

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. So, I said to her, “Hannah. It’s taken us six years to get a ‘Best Friends’ bracelet – how slow do you want to go?’ We were in hysterics for the rest of the day.

The bracelets are so cute too.  Mine’s got a white strap with a little metal board that says ‘forever’ on it with a little white diamond and Hannah’s is the same only black with ‘Friends’ written on it. They are awesome!

I also dragged her into a Curry’s express shop and we played on the iPad.

OMG.

If anyone reading this has an iPad then I am totally jealous right now. I mean, really. They are sooo cool! Hey are really thin and light and just so beautiful it actually hurts! I can’t believe that something so small can be so powerful, like we watched You Tube videos on there and played loads of games and looked at photos and everything. God, they’re good. If I ever won the lottery, they would be the first thing I would buy. Seriously.

We had lunch and I was totally blown away by the food court around because it was like you were on a cruise and they had the roof painted like a sky and it would go dark and have stars on it and then it would light up like it was going from night to day.

They also had a cat walk on at the minute we were there and it was packed but the models were great because they were doing loads of little dances and stuff and, there was a girl in the front row who was sixteen, and they took her on stage and the two really good-looking guys sang to her.

Jealous? Me? No…

We also saw that guy, Ricky, from Hollyoaks and he was signing calenders in Clintens the card place within the Traford Centre. To be honest, I've never seen Hollyoaks before in my life, but he was so hot that I couldn't resist taking a photo!

I have a ton of photos but for some reason my blog won't let me upload them so I'll come back at a later date and add some pictures then!

As you can see the day was a great success and I really enjoyed it!

THANK YOU HANNAH!

Sweet Dreams and Happy Memories everyone...x

Hiya people.

I am exhausted. Totally shattered. I mean I can't believe how tiring college can be. I've had thirteen weeks off and all of a sudden I have to get up at six o'clock and work from nine until four. Four. I've never worked from nine till four in my life! Well, not of my own accord anyway.

I started on tuesday by the way, and I am really enjoying it. My favourite lessons have got to be English and Geography so far, even though geography was one of the 'other' options on the IB.

I just think i feel alittle weary, you know? Like, tired and lethargic and just too tired to do anything apart from listen to music then flop into bed at nine o'clock.

Oh, okay, just one thing too:

SKULDUGGERY PLEASANT - MORTAL COIL!!!!

It's welllllll good! I mean like, totally one of my favourite books ever! I read it and I cried and laughed so much it hurt and then I was shocked by all the violence (its gd tho!) and then I got to the end and I was all noooooooooooooooooooo!!!  IT CAN'T END THIS WAY!!!!

I was alittle emotional to say the least.

Not looking forward to the small pile of homework that is glaring at me from the corner of my desk. I can see it inching it's way towards me going 'Emmmmmmaaa. You nnneeeedddd to complete me foooorrrr mondayyyyy!'

I KNOW, OKAY???

SO, anyway, there are only nine people on my course which is just awesome and they're all brilliant guys and gals (only two guys, but anyway...) and they're all lovely and kind and friendly so, we'll see.

Oh. I wanted to do this huge long blog post but can't think of anything to say...

OO! Okay, I watched the X factor last weekend and, I usually watch it relgiously, every week but this year it's kinda been like 'meh'. So, I watched last weeks episode and saw that girl 'Cher Lloyd?' Did you see her? Well, anyway, I thought she was just awesome and I want her to win!

So, here's the link: Cher Audition

Erm...not much more to say here except, my friend Hannah has just invited me to go to Traford Centre with her and her parents tomorrow but I've never been before so I'm quite excited!  Don't know what to expect or even where it is...so, yeah, If I don't come on here for a long time it's cause I got lost at the Traford Centre. True story.

Right, got to go, have a great weekend, with plenty of lie-ins and lots of hot chocolate and ice cream! (Although, not together obviously...)

Okay, so, I'm dead excited but I just need to do one thing before I tell you what about...

OMG. Skulduggery Pleasant - Mortal Coil!

Okay. I'm done. So, as you can tell from the above I am totally excited about the new Skulduggery Pleasant book coming out tomorrow.  That's right. If you don't know what I'm talking about then Shame On You! This is the best fantasy series ever written and is by a chap called Derek Landy who lives in Ireland. A bit of trivia for you there.

Sooooo, I went into town today with my brother and looked in five different book shops, thinking it was out today, and then I got to Waterstones and there was a poster saying 'Coming: 2nd September 2010!'

I was pissed to say the least.  <<<Me (Lol) But anyway, I'm okay now, I have calmed down a little and can't wait for tomorrow.

I also went to see 'Salt' at the cinema  with my brother. It. Was. Awesome. Really. I think that Angelina Jolie is amazing and does all her own stunts too and it was brilliant. I would totally recomend it

Okay, gotta go, and you all gotta go and buy the book tomorrow and make Mr. Landy very rich because of his genius!

HI!

Yeah, I’m dead happy because I got what grades I needed for College! AH! I am so chuffed with myself! So, yeah, I’ll tell you basically what I got: Two A*, one A, four B’s and two C’s so all together I’ve passed and got nine GCSE’s!  Whoop! I seriously didn’t think I would be able to get into College because I got one of the C’s in Math’s and I needed to get a B but they accepted me anyway – how lucky was that?

So, yeah, I have never been so nervous in my entire life and all my friends were there and everyone got, basically, what they needed and have now got into college or are going to enroll tomorrow!

I got home and my mum and brother had bought me some ‘Well done’ cards and they are sooo sweet and they also bought me a balloon in the shape of a Lion! It’s awesome! Roar!

Whoa. I’m getting too excited and I don’t even know why…anyway, I have an enrollment day in a few weeks time and then I start! Woo!

I don’t feel like I’m old enough to be going to college. I know that sounds stupid and I wouldn’t be going to college if I wasn’t old enough blah blah blah but I think that somewhere you may never actually feel ready to take the next step…whatever that may be.

So, I’m happy with the results and everything’s good. For now. Hopefully. The only thing that’s pissing me off now is that I can’t go to my friend’s ‘GCSE results’ party and I’m so annoyed but what can you do? I’m sure there’ll be other parties  now I’m a student! - that sounds sooo weird. I can get student discount too. Result!

So, I'm off to party, althought it's not going to be anything too wild (Pizza and a movie!) and I'm so happy!

Sweet dreams and happy memories everyone...x

Hi,

Just want to say I'm sorry for being so moany in my last post  but it really did help to get the stuff off my chest. I'm feeling a little bit better this evening and I think most of that is due to the fact that I have had my music on and listening to some awesome tunes and just rocking out!  So, yeah, feeling a little better but still a little bit nervous about tomorrow and my results  but I've figured that I have done the best I could have done and no one can ask anything more of me!  So, a bit of music is in order me thinks!

Katy Perry - Teenage Dreams

Kesha - Take it off

Alexandra Burke - Start without you

Alanis morissette - Ironic

So, yeah, anyway, have a good night people and I'll be on here again tomorrow night to share either my sadness or joy! My and three other girls are going to walking to school and are going to just be crazy!   <<<Me twomorrow morning (Lol!)

  • Mood: Nervous and Sick
  • Music: Teenage Dreams by Katy Perry
  • Book: London Bridges by James Patterson
  • Quote: 'You have to keep screaming until they hear you out.' - Written in the stars by Tinie Tempah

We'll, the time is upon me. I go and get my GCSE results tomorrow and I am so nervous I feel physically sick.  I just can't imagine not being able to get into College because I didn't get the grades I needed, and you know, everything will proberbly be okay and I'll go and enroll and everything will be fine. But I don't believe it. Not yet anyway. I can't believe everything will be fine until tomorrow night, after I have my results and I've enrolled and everything is fine.

You know the killer though? I went to the hospital on friday night at about 10PM because half of my face had swollen up and the doctor said I had mumps. Yeah. I wrote that right. Mumps. It sounds like such a childish illness but it kills like hell and I can't swallow properly and my ear is constantly throbbing. I felt like death on friday night.

The doctor told me I have to stay in for around seven days because it's contagious and so I told him I had to go and enrol and get my results and he said, because we caught it quick, so long as I don't get too close or hug anyone then I should be okay to go and get my results.  I was sobbing when I came out, thinking 'Why the hell did it happen to me?' and in one of the most important weeks of my life too.

So, yeah, I'm pretty pissed off at the moment  and in a lot of pain  but I can't think about anything else but my results. Typical.

You know what? I haven't been sick in the last, what, year, year and a half? Neither have I been ill in the 12 weeks I've just had off from school, but the one week I have to make sure I'm well and okay to go to school and this happens.

So, yeah, I'm pretty annoyed and I just needed to post something today because writing it down and getting it out makes me feel a lot better

Right, enough moaning for now! I want to show you something. I went to see Leona Lewis in concert earlier this year on the 31st May at Liverpool Echo arena and, while I took some photos and videos, they weren't very good because we were near the back of the arena. So, whilst I was You tubeing last night, I found a whole area of videos done by people who were near the front and I wanted to share them with you!

She is an amazing singer and has a great personality and she is just brillant all round so check out some of the links below and see for yourself! The night was brilliant and I would definatly go and see her agaiin!

My favourite: I Got You

My other favourite: Bleeding Love

When you listen to Bleeding Love just listen to how many people are singing along because at some points she stops singing but every single person is singing it back to her!

Okay, well, I'm sorry that this post was a bit of a moan but I just needed to get it out and I feel a lot better now!
